The service was good, and we had an ample supply of fresh-baked bread, but we were waiting over an hour for our food! Plus, the potatoes were extremely overcooked.

They got two stars because the salmon was very good. But look in the pictures at the serving size for $18. They must be joking. It was the size of half a deck of cards.

First time at this restaurant, and I cant say I will go back. First, the good. The calamari was very good...fresh and very tasty. The bread was good too, as was the coleslaw. Now the bad. The parking lot was a joke. Too many pot holes for any place. The service was slow, but I'm certain it wad the kitchens fault. My meal, bourbon salmon was really bad as were the sides. My friends dinner was equally disappointing. If I can mske it better, why go out (and I'm no chef!). I expected better quality.

Roadhouse as a local favorite for my wife and I. There's nothing outstanding about the restaurant except their consistency, but they are consistently good. Their menu is pretty extensive and whether I've had a burger, ribs or fish the food is tasty, well prepared and generously portioned. The bar has a good selection of micro-brewed and high end beer to boot. Free popcorn, live music, good service, good food and good beer? That's a winning combination.

My husband and I love going here. Friday and Saturday evenings are fun with the live entertainment. We are always greeted nicely and asked if we would like to sit in the front bar area or in the back dining area. The chicken bites are delicious as an appetizer or for a lite meal. The salads are always fresh. I'm a big fan of the fish, my husband loves the pasta. The only item that we have not tried is the pizza, which I see a lot of people ordering. They have great specials all the time on different food items.

Always a good meal here. Never had a bad experience. Great local spot when you need to grab a last minute meal. Kids love the free popcorn. Had a great time with Single Shot a few weeks back. Will always be on my list of local favorites.

Great food. Never had a bad experience eating here. My wife and kids love the joint and the feta bread appetizer is da bomb or so my son says.

My husband and I really enjoyed this place. First off the service was fantastic and the laid back atmosphere was just what we were looking for. As soon as we got there the hostess asked us if we wanted to be up front by the live band or in the back of the house where it was much quieter. Since we were on a nice date we opted for the back and I appreciated the chance to choose my table location. We were sat right next to a window that overlooked a nice view. They served us fresh popcorn to munch on while we looked over the menu and later fresh baked bread arrived to the table. I ordered a glass of well priced Shiraz and the cedar plank grilled white fish. It was perfectly cooked and came with a serving of steamed vegetables and generous house salad. The other half ordered the prime rib rare with twice baked potatoes and house salad. We were both very pleased with our food.

Pretty good food. The place is loud and cramped. Our waitress wasn't too pleasant.

crummy service, two tables sat after us and got their food before our table, the waitress pissed off a table next to us when she couldn't figure out how to divide their bill, the food tastes like a salt lick. the calamari was just ok, but had a cheap corn-starch sauce under it. for a place with 14-18 dollar entrees on the menu, they should not be using generic brand ketchup, not a big deal but it says alot about the details of a restaurant. great location, great look, the food leaves something to be desired. I would not go back.

Check this place out! I was a tad apprehensive when I looked at the menu online before going to SCR - they are a part of a larger restaurant development group...so immediately I began to think corporate-chain-gang-thingy-nothing great - and I WAS SO WRONG!! This building has been here since the 70's and it's name has changed a couple of times. Upon entering I immediately lost the whole chain-vibe I got from viewing the website for this restaurant. It had a wonderful cabin-like feel to it, wooden chairs stood by the bar, that was nearly full for a Tuesday evening at 7pm. The hostess promptly sat us in a booth, and our server Megan showed up quickly after we were sat. She was knowledgeable, answered our questions without hesitation, and with a smile on her face. The service was impeccable! Now for the food! I was so excited to talk about their coleslaw! Wow! I guess you know when you've had a good experience, you cant' wait to tell everyone about it! Creamy, crisp, fresh AWESOME! Every bite had a pleasant crunch from the freshest cabbage! It was perfect! I had that with my Asiago crusted white fish, that was really phenomenal as well! My friend had a 12oz Delmonico that he said was excellent! With our dinners we also got bread that was hot, and had parmesan sprinkled on it. I literally made a fish sandwhich with the left over bread, and the fish I couldn't finish from my own dinner. They had some great beers on tap as well, with my dinner I enjoyed a Final Absolution from Dragonmead!! Yay! I'm always excited when a restaurant has one of my favorite craft beers on tap. Megan also let us know that SCR has live music on Fridays and Saturdays and the place gets packed! Seriously!! Why have I not been here before?? I will definitely go back, with excitement to try other great menu items. All of their seafood entrees sounded amazing!

Never again..... After being forgotten in the back corner, we spoke to the hostess who took our drink and appetizer order. Our waitress was dismissive when we, party of 6, complained to the manager that after 20 minutes our waitress did not take our food order. We should have known then.... Once our standard menu items were ordered we waited about 25 more minutes and it wasn't until we asked for our drink bill that our food arrive. Food was good. Our waitress felt it necessary to argue with us about our long and pitiful service and directly called out her anticipated small tip... As we were still sitting at our table finishing our drinks!! The manager had little to say at the appalling service and horrendous attitude of our server. Please spare yourself the aggravation and avoid this business!

We took my husband here for Fathers Day. Worst mistake I've made in 20 years! It was $80 for absolute garbage. My husband ordered the ribs, they were green and spoiled! The service was slow and subpar, and we were the servers only table. We went about 4pm figuring it might be busy for Father's Day. I will never go back here. Worst dining experience of my life, so far!

Awesome- awesome food! Just a bit pricey but they have coupons in the local deal magazines. They also have daily specials. Service could be a little better. Also I agree with other reviews that the parking lot is in scary condition.

I have to admit that my overall experience at this restaurant was really good! My server/waitress was Kelly a young lady with an excellent personality and always very attentive to the table on refills and if we needed anything in addition to our meals. Turnoffs once I walked through the doors I could perceive that this restaurant used to be for smokers. Given that it has a carpet you still get that potent smack in the face when you walk through the door of old smelly carpets that hold cigarette smoke. Also I was seated at a table next to wooden blinds. There was no window just the blinds and they had dust all over. The dust was to a point where I could literally write my name. Other than these two extremely important issues that should be attended to ASAP I really enjoyed the food. I ordered a filet minion medium-well and it was properly cooked. The coleslaw was to die for. The bread was amazing and the desserts were spectacular. This is a fun place for the family I would even suggest bringing a date because the quality of the food and the service is very nice. But please put as a priority either removing this rug putting in a nice wooden floor or having it cleaned until that stench has completely disappeared. Remodeling would be perfect. No worries I will definitely visit again.

Came here for lunch and order the perch; it was on the menu for $18 for a dinner portion and $12 for a lunch portion. The menu stated the below entrees came with potato or vegetable AND soup or cole slaw. When I placed the order the waitress said that only a potato or vegetable came with the perch, not an additional choice of soup or cole slaw. I showed her the menu and she stated it was incorrect, and the kitchen would not let her put in the order that way. She said she would send over a manager but I was with a group of 12 and didn't want to make an issue of it and so I settled for just a vegetable with my perch. When I was served, the perch looked like small potato pancakes - they were flat and WAY over cooked. The cook obviously smashed the perch on both side with a spatula. Another woman in my group also ordered perch and hers looked completely different (like an order of perch should look). Again, since I was in a large group and didn't want to make an issue of it (I would have sent it back if I was there with my husband) I kept my meal. It was absolutely the worst perch I have ever had in my life. Definitely won't be going back!

Liked the atmosphere at this place; reminded me of an upnorth cabin. Food was good, but not outstanding - although the herbed, roasted potatoes (served as a side) were very tasty! Average sized portions. Decent beer selection. Service was good (although it was late afternoon on a Tuesday), but I was disappointed that we were not offered more of the delicious bread after my two boys and I devoured the first serving. Dinner for the three of us (including two Guiness drafts and tip) was just over $70. Will I be back? I don't know.. It was good, but pricey, and not all that memorable.

It's hit or miss with the food here, to be honest. Great sandwiches and the freshly baked bread they serve before your meal is always hot and tasty, but I have been disappointed by the perch and the lobster mac 'n cheese. They have some good craft beer selections though.

I went there for dinner and drinks one night because of a recommendation and I might have to say it was one of the best meals I had in awhile! My main dish was the Delmonico Steak and I added a crab cake to it. I didn't realize the steak came with a crab cake as a topper with a cream sauce and asparagus too. I was originally weary of the cream sauce on the steak but it was a perfect combination that I wasn't expecting. The crab cake was sweet and meaty. The slighty salty flavor of the cream sauce was a great compliment to the steak and crab cake too. I think I would get the crab cake on top of any steak I get here next time. I'm craving it now just writing this. Other meals were very good also. I highly recommend the Lemon Caper Calamari. The lemon sauce was superb and the calamari was perfectly fried. I also got to sample the salmon which was good but it was the side dish I really loved. "White Cheddar Duchesse Potato". One bite and I said Wow! Whatever you entree you order, get this side dish. The restaurant had a great upbeat atmosphere. It was Friday night and they had a live band. The music wasn't too loud so you can still have a good conversation while dining. The low lighting makes it a good place for date night. The Waitstaff was very friendly and the service was top notch. I don't usually hang out that way but if I ever do again, I will definitely go there again.

There is nothing spectacular about the Roadhouse, but I think another person said it best - they are consistent and the food is consistently good. We have been going there for quite some time now, and never really have had a bad meal. The service is hit and miss. Sometimes its great and other times you wait a little longer but it hasn't been flat out awful. When we go there we always have the mindset that we will be there a little while. And that's fine for my husband and I. The bar has a good selection of Beer, Liquor and Wine. They were offering 1/2 off your bar table on Saturdays after 8pm I believe - I haven't been there in a few months, so I am not sure if this is still the case - but we'd go up there for drinks and appetizers. The entertainment is really good - especially Single Shot. They do have an area in the back of the restaurant away from the entertainment, but its still a little loud - so if you are looking for a quiet atmosphere I'd suggest going before the music starts The restaurant itself is pretty neat - kind of a lodge feel, maybe? We like to sit up at the bar too - which is nice as well. Again, the Roadhouse isn't outstanding but I have no complaints overall. The food is good, the prices are reasonable.

Haven't been here in years, nothing's changed. I would have given this place a 4 star rating if the service had been better. We were appalled with our server. We were seated next to a large group that decided to move around their chairs before their dinner started. Our waitress asked for our drink order then ignored us while standing next to us to stare at them. Then she proceeded to comment to us about how weird they all were, and what was their problem. Very strange, and that was just beginning, she was just a "off" person. Anyway, the food was great, we had fish and chips, and my partner had the cedar salmon. We will be back, and if seated in her section again will ask to be moved.
